4 Best Blogging Platform

Blogging Platform

There are a lot of free blogging platforms out there, but they don’t have all of the necessary capabilities to help you drive traffic and earn money. This may not seem important when you first start out, but as you develop a passion for writing, it will become more important (which usually happens in 2-3 weeks time)
Many people make the mistake of choosing the incorrect blogging platform and then regret it later.

As a result, this tutorial will assist you in avoiding such errors.

WordPress.org :

WordPress.org is so popular because it allows you to effortlessly control every aspect of your website.

It’s open-source software that’s updated every few months to ensure that users have access to the most up-to-date features.

They also provide a mobile app that allows you to blog from your phone, including the ability to add photographs, compose posts, and respond to comments. What I enjoy about about this platform is how simple it is to use. In a matter of minutes, anyone can establish a blog. For example, you can select the Bluehost hosting starting package and a domain name. (The first domain name is completely free.)Bluehost will setup your blog for you instantly, and you can then begin blogging. Learn how to install WordPress in this guide.
It’s also very straightforward to get started writing and adjust the structure of your blog. They also have an app for mobile, Mac, Windows, and Linux that makes managing your blog much easier.

WordPress.com :

As previously said, WordPress comes in two flavours, one of which being WordPress.com.

If you’re still on the fence about utilising WordPress.org, I propose starting your blog on WordPress.com. This allows you to use WordPress without having to pay anything (WordPress.org is free to use, but you will still need to buy hosting and a domain).

WordPress.com can assist you with acclimating to the WordPress platform. You’ll learn how to write a blog post, control comments, and manage the dashboard, among other things. When you’re unsure about your domain name, WordPress.com can help.
Typically, when we first begin, we choose a name that we believe will be useful, only to later realise how ineffective it is. For example, I used the moniker ‘VirginTech’ for my blog before settling on ShoutMeLoud. What a dreadful moniker!

Well, we all make dumb blunders in our initial few days of blogging, and these free platforms ensure that our missteps don’t cost us money.WordPress.com provides you with a free domain name like yourname.WordPress.com is free to use, and for a small fee, you may upgrade to a “real” domain name (custom domain name) such as domain.com.There are additional paid features available on WordPress.com that expand its possibilities, but as I previously stated, if you want to employ “premium” features, WordPress.org is better and cheaper.

BlogSpot :

BlogSpot is another wonderful platform that you can use for free if you want to try your hand at blogging. Because this is a Google platform, the architecture differs significantly from that of WordPress.

However, blogging on BlogSpot is simple and user-friendly.

BlogSpot is a mobile app that allows you to handle all of your publishing and management from your phone. The software, however, is not updated as frequently as it should be.

If you have an Android phone, you can get the app and test it out for yourself.   One advantage of BlogSpot is that you can monetize your blog in whatever way you choose (AdSense, Amazon Associates, sponsored posts, direct ads, etc.).I used to recommend BlogSpot to friends, but despite being a good platform, it has fallen into disarray in recent years. If you’re looking for a free platform to start your blog, check out WordPress.com or Medium.com.

Medium :

Medium is an excellent blogging platform for both writing and reading. Medium is for you if all you want to do is write and don’t worry about personalisation, customization, or making money.

Medium.com is a good free blogging platform. They also have a mobile app that is just as user-friendly as their website.

Medium is fantastic, but you can’t make money with it.  Medium.com, on the other hand, is a good option for entrepreneurs or business owners who aren’t interested in monetizing their blog and just want a place to speak and be heard.
